Nothing you do in Ascert leaves your phone. There's no account to create, no analytics running in the background, and no ad network watching you study. The app makes no network calls of its own — no telemetry, nothing phoning home. The only network activity is Apple's own purchase system, and the report form that opens in your browser if you use it.
Your progress, review history, and exam results live on your phone and nowhere else. Delete the app and they're gone with it.
Purchases go through Apple, so Ascert never sees your payment details. How Apple handles that is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Study reminders are optional, and they're scheduled right on your phone. Nothing pings a server to remind you about your flashcards.
If you report a question issue, the app opens a form in your browser. The only thing sent is what you type in it, and only when you hit submit.
Ascert doesn't collect personal information from anyone, kids included.
If any of this ever changes (say optional iCloud sync ships someday), this page will be updated with a new date before it happens, not after.
